The wood is a stabilized prior to being molded with the urethane resin that has been colored with a blend of specialized mica powders. Stabilizing ensures the wood is strong and durable, and will easily hold up to repeated use.
Solid stainless steel (SS 304 18-8) bottle opener is FDA food safe compliant. Machined in the USA by small, family-operated, businesses. These are not the cheap and hollow variants found on many products.
Each bottle opener also features a stainless steel (SS 304 18-8) threaded insert so that the opener is able to be safely removed from the turned piece simply by unscrewing it. This allows for the opener to be easily cleaned, maintained, or even replaced, if needed.
